"My years at BCA were invaluable to my development as a student, and as a man. I attended Bethany’s preschool as well as the academy. The teachers and staff were always supportive, encouraging me in my growth academically, mentally, and spiritually. In the world, as it is today, young people have many ideologies and viewpoints thrust upon them. What is learned at BCA teaches them how to be in the world but stand apart; how to sort the good from the bad, to know right from wrong (based on Biblical truth), and how to interact kindly and compassionately with others that do not always share your viewpoint. Bethany is a very diverse community that allows you to learn about other students’ cultural identities. That has been invaluable to me in everything I have been a part of since I left Bethany; from playing college level D1 baseball, to working full-time in the tech sector, to attending college classes, and becoming a mechanical engineer. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it weren’t for the love of Christ and the incredible people at BCA and all they invested in me. I even returned to the school to serve as a substitute upper level math teacher, briefly, while I was completing my degree at UCI. "
