DRESS CODE 

UNIFORM POLICY

THE BCA UNIFORM CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:

SHIRTS (boys & girls) :

 

  • Polo shirt w/BCA logo (a black polo shirt must be worn on chapel days)
  • T-shirt w/BCA logo (short or long sleeved)
  • BCA spirit wear shirt (current or previous years)

 

BOTTOMS (boys & girls) :

 

  • Uniform style pants or shorts  (black, navy blue, khaki, grey)
  • Jeans / shorts (black, navy blue, khaki, grey)
  • No skinny jeans or leggings
  • No rips, tears, or holes in pants or jeans

 

BOTTOMS (girls only) :

 

  • Uniform style skirts, skorts, and jumpers (black, navy blue, khaki, grey)
  • Skirts (blue, black, khaki, grey)
  • Shorts or leggings (black, navy blue, white, grey) should be worn under skirts.
  • Shorts, skirts, skorts, and jumpers must be at least fingertip length when arms hang straight down.

 

JACKETS & SWEATSHIRTS:

 

  • Sweatshirts w/BCA logo (black, navy blue, royal blue, white)
  • Solid, one-color sweatshirts (black, navy blue, royal blue, white)
  • No logos, patterns, or designs
  • Jackets (for outside wear only)

 

SOCKS & SHOES:

 

  • Socks are required (any socks may be worn)
  • Athletic or tennis shoes (recommended)
  • Sandals (must have a closed toe and back strap)
  • Shoes must be worn at all times.

 

HAIR:

 

  • Hair must be clean, neat, and well groomed.
  • Eyes must be visible.
  • Hair must be the natural color 

 

MAKE-UP & JEWELRY (girls only) :

 

  • Make-up is permitted for middle school girls only.
  • Make-up must be modest and natural colors.
  • Nail polish must be clear or natural colors.
  • Earrings are permitted, but no more than two per ear and they must be in the lobes of the ear.
  • No other body parts may be pierced.

 

ACCESSORIES:

 

  • Hats, hoods, and sunglasses may not be worn inside.

 

THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT PERMITTED:

  • any clothing with inappropriate or unchristian slogans or emblems (Examples: alcohol or cigarette logos, weapons, non-Christian music groups, etc.)
  • skinny jeans, leggings (except under skirts), jeggings, spandex, or other tight or form fitting clothing 
  • pants that are ripped, torn, or have holes in them
  • crop tops, strapless tops or dresses, spaghetti straps or tank tops, or low cut tops. All tops must cover from the collar bone to below the belt line
